-He is incredible! What he does, he is phenomenal at what he does. As a finisher in that area I don’t think I’ve seen anyone better at doing what he does, pure finishing, Cole begins to Sky Sports.
But when asked if Haaland is the best ever in the Premier League, Cole hesitates.
-I’m not sure. The goals and what he does, yes, he’s got to be up there, but when you talk about the best Premier League striker, there are Premier League strikers who haven’t played the way he plays and scored goals, so you have to turn it on its head. If a team was built around this striker and played like this, how many goals would he have scored to be up there. I’m not going to sit here and say he (Haaland) is the best striker the Premier League has ever seen. I can’t sit here and say that because I have so much respect for the guys who have gone before him, who have scored goals in a different era, comments the United legend Cole.
Scored goals in a different era.
