A winner in the prestigious Best Vanilla Ice Cream category has been announced at the international ice cream conference IICC. And the gold medalist comes from Slöinge.
IICC, or the International Ice Cream Consortium, brings together the world’s leading independent ice cream manufacturers in Greece to share knowledge and compete in various categories. The members nominate their best and most innovative new ice creams to be judged by the conference participants. Samples are presented and blind-tasted, and the members vote for the three best products based on specific criteria, such as sensory evaluation, visual appearance, and concept appeal.

The winner in the prestigious Best Vanilla Ice Cream category is none other than Sia Glass from Slöinge and their ice cream “Finaste Vanilj,” made with Swedish fresh cream and genuine bourbon vanilla. This is the second time Sia has won first prize in the vanilla category.
“Winning once is significant, but defending the title is something truly extraordinary. This award demonstrates that our quality and excellent raw ingredients genuinely hold their own against the world’s foremost ice cream makers,” says Stefan Carlsson, CEO of SIA Glass.
