A New Chapter for Cliff Booth
Tarantino’s upcoming novel will accompany the film The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, set to premiere on November 25, 2026. Brad Pitt returns as Cliff Booth, joined by Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Timothy Olyphant. Both the film and the novel take place in Hollywood, 1977, where Booth provides “clandestine services” to his friends — a premise that promises Tarantino’s signature blend of grit, humor, and cinematic nostalgia.

Tarantino: “Can’t wait for audiences to see and read Cliff Booth’s further adventures”
The filmmaker emphasized that the novel will present his own creative interpretation of Booth’s story, expanding the universe in ways that “delight and surprise.” He added:
“Can’t wait for audiences to see and read Cliff Booth’s further adventures.”
A Return to Tarantino’s Literary Roots
Tarantino has long expressed affection for movie novelizations — a genre he grew up reading in the 1970s. In 2020, he signed a two‑book deal with HarperCollins. The first was the novelization of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and the second, Cinema Speculation (2022), explored the film industry of the 1970s through essays, memoir, and creative analysis.
The Adventures of Cliff Booth marks his next literary step, blending his passion for cinema with the storytelling freedom of fiction.
