The money is pouring into David Beckham’s account, with $35 million in revenue in 2024 from his media, fashion and sports empire. Then knighted by King Charles Beckham this fall. Money and titles mean a lot to Beckham, but on Sunday night the biggest thing came, for a man who has spent blood, sweat and tears on the field as a footballer, to lift the biggest trophies.
Beckham worked for several years together with American investors to establish Inter Miami in MLS. This came in 2018. Then came a few tough first years before Lionel Messi was persuaded to wear the pink jersey. A handful of Barcelona legends have given the club attention, publicity and income that MLS clubs can only dream of, but for Beckham, the MLS title has been the big goal all along.

On Sunday night it finally came! In the final, Inter Miami won 3-1 against Vancouver Whitecaps.
Édier Ocampo (own goal), Rodrigo De Paul and Tadeo Allende scored Inter Miami’s goals in the final, and Messi had two assists. For Sir David Beckham another milestone reached. Congratulations!
