A Box Office and Awards Sensation
Written and directed by Ryan Coogler, Sinners became a cultural phenomenon upon release. The film grossed $370 million worldwide and earned four Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan’s dual performance as twins Smoke and Stack.
Set in a small Mississippi town, the story follows the brothers as they attempt to open a juke joint—only to find themselves battling real vampires lurking in the shadows of their community.
Step Inside “Club Juke”
The new haunted house will transport guests directly into the film’s iconic setting: Club Juke. Visitors will come face‑to‑face with the movie’s terrifying red‑eyed vampires—Remmick, Bert, and Joan—while navigating a maze of scenes inspired by the film.
Along the way, fans will encounter beloved characters including Sammie, Mary, Annie, Pearline, and Cornbread, all brought to life in a chilling, atmospheric recreation of Coogler’s world.
John Murdy, Executive Producer of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, emphasized the ambition behind the attraction. He noted that just as Sinners reinvented the vampire genre, Universal aims to reinvent the haunted house experience with new, never‑before‑attempted scares.
