Nickelback Announces Everything Under the Sun.
The Canadian rock band revealed that their 11th studio album will arrive on October 30 via Virgin Music Group. This marks their first full-length release since Get Rollin’ in 2022, following a busy period that included their global tour and the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback.
Frontman Chad Kroeger says the new record reflects the band’s full musical identity:
“This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we’ve ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we’ve been doing this together for so long.”

“Rattle the Cage” — A High-Energy First Taste
The newly released single, “Rattle the Cage,” is described as an arena-ready rock track fueled by the intensity of Nickelback’s live performances. The song features a guest appearance from John 5, known for his work with Mötley Crüe, Rob Zombie, and Marilyn Manson.
Kroeger explains why they chose it as the first single:
“‘Rattle the Cage’ felt like the perfect way to kick the door open — it has the energy we’ve been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it.”

According to the band, Everything Under the Sun blends heavy rock anthems with more reflective, melodic tracks, offering a complete picture of their evolution and versatility.
Formed in Hanna, Alberta, Nickelback has sold nearly 60 million albums worldwide since their breakthrough with Silver Side Up in 2001, propelled by the massive hit How You Remind Me. Over the years, they’ve delivered fan favorites like Photograph, Rockstar, Far Away and Burn It to the Ground.
