The trio of massive shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next summer will each feature a legitimate music icon opening the night. Prepare for a masterclass in rock history:
- July 8th witnesses the explosive return of 90s alt-rock titans Skunk Anansie.
- July 10th brings the undisputed Godmother of Punk, Joan Jett, to the hallowed stage.
- July 11th closes the run with a performance from the very architects of emo, Sunny Day Real Estate.
And the sonic feast doesn’t stop there. The entire European leg of the tour is packed with a who’s-who of alternative music greatness. From the brooding post-punk of Interpol in Milan to the seismic soundscapes of Mogwai in Madrid, every night is a festival-worthy event.
The Full, Unbeatable European Support Lineup:
- June 10th: Anfield Stadium – Echo & The Bunnymen
- July 4th: Bellahouston Park – Idlewild
- July 8th: Wembley Stadium – Skunk Anansie
- July 10th: Wembley Stadium – Joan Jett
- July 11th: Wembley Stadium – Sunny Day Real Estate
- July 15th: Visarno Arena Hippodrome – Interpol

This is a support lineup of unprecedented strength, a testament to the colossal pulling power of My Chemical Romance’s return. With venues like Wembley (90,000 capacity) and Iberdrola Music (100,000+) hosting, they’ve assembled a bill that rivals major festivals.
If you’re hoping to witness this piece of history, the July 8th show with Skunk Anansie currently has the best ticket availability. For the other dates, you’ll be scouring resale sites for a precious spot in the crowd.
The tour is part of the ongoing ‘Long Live The Black Parade Tour,’ which sees the band performing their seminal 2006 album, The Black Parade, in its entirety, followed by a full second set. And keep your ears peeled for surprise covers, from The Smashing Pumpkins’ “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” to Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
While frontman Gerard Way is undoubtedly consumed by this mammoth tour, rumors persist of a new side project, The Mock-Ups, with members of ska-punk outfit The Interrupters. For now, though, all eyes are on this monumental tour and the incredible acts sharing the stage.
