Throws £2 Billion on the Table

Andrews, 41, describes himself as a multi-millionaire. Although he calls his plan to take over an English top-flight club “crazy and ambitious,” he’s convinced the money is “definitely” available to him.

This is the latest display of his wealth after the businessman claimed to have bought a £36 million home – in cash – on Dubai’s prestigious Palm Jumeirah for himself and partner Katie to live in. However, the former model has previously stated she’s unwilling to become the latest celebrity to swap the UK for the Middle East.

Lee Andrews Drops ‘Crazy’ Bombshell About Major English Club

“Even though many are skeptical, the couple is – as you can see – terribly in love”

What makes Andrews’ project even more unlikely is that the club he’s targeting is Chelsea. The west London giants were only just sold for £4.25 billion in March 2022. The Blues are currently owned by the BlueCo consortium, led by Todd Boehly.

The American consortium took over from Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich just over four years ago, after he was forced to sell the club by the UK government. While things haven’t exactly gone according to plan since then, it would be a massive shock if Andrews bought a majority stake for a staggering £2 billion.

In a recent interview with The Sun, the man who claims to earn between £2 million and £5 million annually from US market investments detailed his shocking bid to buy Chelsea. He told the paper:

“The offer has been made to BlueCo. Interest has been sent, and the letter has been drafted. The current bid is £2 billion for 55 percent – not confirmed or accepted yet – with the hope we close by the end of the year. That’s the timeline I’ve set for this.”

“I can’t tell you all the details about my wealth, but the money is definitely there. And they have to accept, and they have to verify, but the money will be going in.”

“It sounds crazy, it sounds ambitious, but watch this space,” he concluded.

Andrews, despite telling everyone how much money he has, has been forced to deny reports that his sustainable vehicle venture has been dissolved.

“It’s definitely not dissolved, 100 percent it’s there,” the 41-year-old stated. However, the business registry in the British Virgin Islands showed that Aura Worldwide Holdings Limited was dissolved in 2024.

This comes at the same time as Katie Price is banned from driving for the seventh time – after an 80 mph (128 km/h) speeding fine

Katie Price, who adorned every teenage boy’s bedroom wall about 20 years ago, has received her seventh driving ban and a hefty fine – after the former model failed to respond to police letters regarding a speeding ticket.

Katie Price has been banned from driving for the seventh time. Her latest trouble arose when a Ford Capri, registered in her name, was spotted driving at 80 mph near the village of Stutton in North Yorkshire, on the A64.

Police from North Yorkshire wrote to Katie at her West Sussex home, asking her to confirm whether she was the driver. She has since been prosecuted and convicted of failing to respond to police, which resulted in a six-month driving ban and a legal bill of £1,000.

Price, 47, has previously received driving bans totaling more than six years, after she was first disqualified from driving in 2010.

One has to wonder if there’s a single part of Katie Price that isn’t made of plastic.

Previous Driving Bans

  • December 2010: Six-month ban after admitting a speeding charge
  • 2012: One-year ban for failing to respond to speeding tickets
  • February 2018: Another six-month ban after being caught speeding
  • January 2019: Three-month ban after admitting to driving while disqualified
  • One month later: Convicted of being drunk in charge of a vehicle after police saw her car veer off the road and hit a grass verge

This is Katie Price’s SEVENTH Driving Ban

Later in 2019, Price was convicted of failing to disclose the name of the driver following a car crash, which led to an 18-month driving ban.

In 2021, a judge condemned Price for having “one of the worst driving records I have ever seen,” as she was given a 16-week suspended prison sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Price had flipped her car and told police at the scene: “I’ve taken drugs, I shouldn’t be driving, I admit it all.” The incident landed her with a two-year driving ban, along with 100 hours of community service and up to 30 rehabilitation sessions.

“You appear to think you are above the law,” District Judge Amanda Kelly told her at the time.

In 2024, Price was fined £880 for driving without a license and insurance in Northamptonshire, but she was spared a ban for those offences.

Latest Court Case

Price’s latest conviction and driving disqualification were dealt with last week in the Single Justice Procedure – a secretive court process where magistrates handle criminal cases behind closed doors.

Court papers show Price was charged with speeding and failing to provide information relating to the identification of a vehicle’s driver. The Ford Capri was caught on a speed camera on a 70 mph stretch of the A64 at 3:03 PM on October 15 last year.

She received a police letter about the incident on October 20, and a reminder on November 10, warning her of impending criminal proceedings. However, police said no response was received to either letter.

Magistrate Claire Sagar, sitting at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court last Tuesday, found Price guilty of failing to respond to the police charge, ordering her to pay a £660 fine, £120 in costs, and a £264 victim surcharge.

Due to the secretive nature of the court process, it’s not known whether Price was given the chance to argue against another driving ban. It’s unclear whether the court was aware of her previous driving record, and the documents don’t reveal whether she already had penalty points on her license. The speeding charge was withdrawn by the police.

Price, an author and reality TV star, has also found herself in civil courts as well as criminal courts in recent years, as she has battled through bankruptcy proceedings.
