Jason Biggs Addresses the Possibility of Another American PieFilm: “There Are Always Talks”.
More than a decade has passed since American Reunion hit cinemas in 2012, yet the appetite for another slice of American Pie remains as strong as ever. For many fans, the franchise represents the golden age of late‑90s and early‑2000s comedy — a time of outrageous gags, unforgettable characters, and, of course, that legendary line about “one time at band camp.”
Now, 26 years after Jason Biggs first appeared on screen as the awkward but lovable Jim Levenstein, the actor has reignited hopes for a fifth installment. Speaking to the New York Post, Biggs revealed that the idea of American Pie 5 is far from dead.
“There’s Always Rumblings”
“There’s always talks,” Biggs said when asked about the possibility of another film. “There’s always rumblings. I can tell you that I’d love to get back with everybody and do another one if it’s the right story.”
Biggs emphasized how much he enjoys returning to the role that made him a household name: “I think it would be so much fun. I love playing that character. I love working with those guys and gals. Everybody is just — it’s family, you know? So I’d love to do it.”
He added that fan enthusiasm plays a major role in keeping the franchise alive: “Honestly, I feel like enough people ask and there’s enough fans. Nostalgia is big right now.”

Memorabilia and Memories
In an interview with People last year, Biggs admitted he held onto “as much as I could” from the films. Most of the memorabilia is stored away, including scripts and promotional materials. But his favorite keepsake? A Band Camp T‑shirt — though he jokes he can no longer fit into it.

A Personal Journey: Eight Years Sober
Outside of Hollywood, Biggs has been open about his struggles with alcohol. While promoting his directorial debut, Untitled Home Invasion Romance, on The View, he was congratulated on reaching eight years of sobriety.
“It’s something I am really proud of, and it’s certainly been difficult,” he said. He explained that his turning point came when he realized he couldn’t stop thinking about drinking.
“For me, I’m very lucky insofar that my bottom wasn’t in the basement. I wasn’t arrested, I didn’t hurt — well, there’s damage, but not the kind you can read about. And it could have been worse.”
Biggs has been sober since 2017 and continues to speak candidly about his recovery.

Will American Pie 5 Happen?
While no official announcement has been made, Biggs’ comments suggest the door is wide open. With nostalgia-driven revivals dominating Hollywood and the original cast still beloved by fans, the timing may be perfect for another reunion.
For now, viewers can only hope that Jim, Kevin, Oz, Finch, and the ever‑chaotic Stifler will return for one more outrageous adventure.
